Located at 7227 Reynolds St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, The Café at the Frick operates as a cafe serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 9:30 AM–3 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If your parents have a lot of disposable income, you will love this place. Great food and service, and a nice enough place (good indoor and outdoor seating), but the prices are absolute extortion. I paid $17 for a moderately-sized sandwich with chips. The menu is also a little limited.

The museum was such a pleasant experience and we heard all about the Cafe so decided to check it out. I honestly felt like the staff seemed stressed and were being snappy to the customers. People around me did not seem happy at the way the staff was talking to them. A waiter outside snapped at this lady who was simply waiting for her husband to come back outside after he ordered food. We understand you’re a small space + busy at lunch time etc but maybe better organization + more staff would help. There’s absolutely no need to snap at guests. Left a bad impression.

Saturday morning's coffee trip to The Cafe at the Frick, ended up being such a pleasant surprise. Having never been to Frick Park before, the manicured property was stunning. Green for days and so peaceful. I first stopped into Grable Vistor Center where I met 2 of the sweetest women that filled me in on this property and how to go about the tour that I didn't know would be taking when I got there. lol..I got the bracelet and was told "enjoy yourself and stop back in and let us know what you think."The car and carriage's & the black & white pictures were the best!" I headed to this quaint little coffee shop that was surrounded by windows and trees. I could've taken a nap! Finished, and began the tour! From the art museum to the greenhouse, to the car & carriage museum to the playhouse. I am so happy that my coffee trip turned more into a field trip! The car museum was something to see. Pristine. Classic. Educational. The history behind it. The black and white blown up pics with street cars brought back great memories as my dad drove them when I was a kid. I recommend you taking this little tour at Frick!

I like the atmosphere, but food is horrible. I had chicken shawarma sandwich and black tea for my lunch there. Imagine of chicken shawarma sandwich, i supposed to get sandwich with pieces of chicken in sharwama sauce. You can see in the picture if what I get from my order. I even repeat order with server that I get the right order. It was a grilled chicken burger with mustard and cold bun. I'm very disappointed with my food. Combine with the price of $16 of this sandwich, I wan't my money back
